Covid-19 Policy
As we navigate the ever changing situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, AZPPA continues to monitor the overall pandemic and adjust our policies, with the aim of providing a safe environment for our members and guests.
AZPPA reviews CDC, regional, local and facility guidelines and policies and makes our best effort to adopt and adhere to these best suggested and/ or required practices.
Recently, AZPPA has moved away from the hybrid meeting model (i.e. offering both in-person and virtual attendance). We are currently, and planning for the near future, hosting in-person events only.
Currently, when meeting in-person (monthly meetings, special events and annual state convention), AZPPA members have the option to wear a mask anytime they feel it is in their best interests for health and safety; whether they are vaccinated against the virus or not. At all times, AZPPA will suggest the continued practice of social distancing (currently six feet), when in enclosed spaces for periods of greater than fifteen minutes.
AZPPA, it Board of Directors and all members will always respect the members personal choices when it come to health and safety and is always open to members working together to maintain a safe environment for all.
In the case of a pnademic resurgence, AZPPA reserves the right to revert back to virtual meetiings with remote presenters, via an internet-based webinar platform. These determinations shall be made based, in part, on the current CDC and Arizona Department of Health Services guidelines in effect at the time.
It should be understood by all AZPPA members and guests that this Covid-19 pandemic is an evolving situation and AZPPA will continue to monitor, adapt and update this policy to offer our members a safe environment, to the best of our ability.
AZPPA supports Equal Opportunity for all it's members and guests.
