From time to time, some members of AZPPA stand out in areas outside our chosen profession. Please enjoy and admire our Member Spot Light Colleague, Rex Madden.
Rex has been a resident in Arizona since 1993, and joined AZPPA in 2009. He is an active participant in monthly meetings, print competition and state conventions. Rex states, “AZPPA has been a positive part of my business since becoming a member. Education, fellowship, networking, and referrals are the things that have benefited me most from this wonderful group.”
Rex owns and operates Rex Madden Photography in Chandler, AZ, working in sports, real estate and commercial assignments. Rex started his business in 2009, and enjoys the “AZ Life Style” along with his wife, Dawn and daughter, Savannah.
The next part of Rex Madden’s Member Spot Light is a step away from photography. You see, Rex is also a Sergeant Major in the United States Army Reserve, and a Firefighter Paramedic for the Salt River Fire Dept. His wife Dawn is a Flight Paramedic, and has also served in the United States Army for over 28 years!
Rex will be leaving our group on Thanksgiving Day this year for Afghanistan. Rex and his Arizona Army Reserve Unit are being deployed on a 12 month mission protecting the very freedoms we all enjoy. This is Rex’s second deployment over seas, serving his first in Iraq. 31 years in the Army Reserve and 18 years Active Duty make this writer proud to know such a great guy!
I am in hopes that Rex will be able to join us at our November 7th AZPPA Monthly Meeting. Please join me on this day to thank Rex for his contributions to AZPPA and most importantly, His service to our country! |
