Portraits Of The Old West
AzPPA Fall Festival Event
If you enjoyed last year's Fall Festival in beautiful Monument Valley, I"m sure you'll enjoy Portraits Of The Old West!
What an educational experience we put together for this year! Not only will you meet numerous actors that have been in many western movies throughout their life, but you'll be able to photograph them in an environment that complements their involvement in the old west as it was in the 1860's.
We will have areas setup to photograph these models dressed in period correct costumes and gear along with some of their personal vintage props. These old buildings, representing our American heritage have some of the finest natural light areas passing through their walls. Use your creative juices and explore the possibilities.
Take the models to these areas and practice some reflective and subtractive lighting. Ask them how they got involved in the movie industry, or about their clothing. You'll probably learn more than you bargained for!
Westcott lighting is our sponsor on this event. They will be sending us lighting gear that most people haven't had the opportunity to use yet.
