Discovering The Artist Within

Speaker: Stephen Moody, M.Photog

Discovering the Artist Within

When you can step outside of the box and take a long look inside of yourself, you will find your Artist Within.

You are unique and you have your own story to tell. Stephen is going to show you how to get out of the rut of creating the same images day in and day out by exploring new ways of creating light, investigating the artistic benefits of different camera angles and utilizing creative camera techniques that will enlighten and delight your inner Artist, and your clients as well.

You will learn how to develop a concept from a blank canvas into a beautiful masterpiece using your equipment, your skills and your mind’s eye.

You will learn how to interpret the stimuli around you and receive creative ideas from everyday life through your unique perception.

You will learn how important it is to develop equipment skills that are second nature so you can focus on artistic expression.

Stephen Moody is an artist, photographer and fashion designer who picked up his first camera at the age of 6 and hasn’t stopped creating since. Stephen holds the degree of Master Photographer with the Professional Photographers of America.

His first studio focused on Fine Art Portraiture in Salt Lake City, but soon expanded into commercial work in New York City with clients like Vogue, GQ, Town & Country, Cosmopolitan to name a few. His clients include Coca-Cola, Westin Hotels, Creme de la Mer Cosmetics, Coldwater Creek and Nordstrom and etc.

Soon after a successful gallery opening in Scottsdale that showcased his work "Art In Its Most Human Form™”, impressionistic images of human form in water, Moody moved his studio to Arizona.

Currently he has an Italian silk tie line and a silk scarf line. Each design is a recreation of his fine art work. His new program SCARF FOR SCARF™ donates a fine art scarf to a person living with cancer for every fine art scarf that is sold.

"As I look back at my first photographs that were taken nearly 40 years ago I see elements in the work that I am doing now, and also the paths I have chosen to grow as an artist." says Moody.

If you are already well along your path as an artist, this program will give you a boost of new energy! If you’re new to photography, it’s the perfect way to start developing your own unique style of art. Start your journey today!
